Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Akinfeev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evron Haim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akinfeev kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 50 - Psycho. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akinfeev scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Evron Haim has been cut.
Akinfeev takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Akinfeev throws a body punch but Haim moves out of range.
Haim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Haim avoids the body shot from Akinfeev.
Haim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Akinfeev as he avoids it easily.
Haim on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Akinfeev throws a body punch but Haim moves out of range.
Haim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Akinfeev throws out the jab.
Haim throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Akinfeev was covering up waiting for the punch and Haim finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Haim must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Haim lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Akinfeev throws his legs up looking for a submission but Haim uses it to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Akinfeev looking for a guillotine here but Haim defends easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Haim drops back, looking for a kneebar! Akinfeev looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Akinfeev looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Akinfeev!

Akinfeev looks up at the clock and then as Haim takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Akinfeev smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Haim is looking to reverse the position.

Haim is trying to control Akinfeev's posture but Akinfeev avoids it.

Akinfeev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Haim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Akinfeev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Haim takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That has opened up Evron Haim's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Evron Haim's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Evron Haim's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
