Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Choo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts's entrance music is Vet. A fine choice. Daniel Choo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Choo!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Choo tries to avoid it but Roberts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Choo to the ground. Choo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Choo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Roberts keeping moving, preventing Choo from controlling successfully.
Choo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Roberts tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Choo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Choo tries to free his leg and advance position but Roberts is retaining full guard.
Roberts has Choo pulled in close to control his posture.
Choo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Choo seems to be working for a kimura but Roberts defends the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Choo advances to mount.

A close round but Daniel Choo will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Roberts wants to get back to full guard.

Choo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Roberts keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Roberts is in trouble now - Choo has advanced to mount!
Roberts can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Robert Roberts will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
