Garcia has chosen God is an Astronaut - The End of the Beginning as his entrance music. Gokay Kvr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kvr leaves Garcia with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kvr as he avoids it easily.
Gokay Kvr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Garcia.
Garcia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kvr pinned against the cage. Kvr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Garcia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kvr is fending him off so far but Garcia persists. Nope, Kvr circles away and we're back to standing.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kvr but Kvr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kvr lands with a slapping head kick.
Kvr tries to clinch there but Garcia circles away.
Kvr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Garcia looks gassed!

Garcia decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Garcia wants to pass to mount but Kvr is defending the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kvr trying to control but Garcia postures up.
Kvr tries to get to full guard but Garcia has control of the leg.
Kvr is working hard here to advance position.
Kvr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Garcia's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Garcia's back!

Kvr is cranking Garcia's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Garcia! He's tightened the choke and Garcia is tapping out!
