Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ubando Yuffertale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Armstrong will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yuffertale feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Yuffertale tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard.
Armstrong is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Armstrong scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Armstrong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yuffertale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Armstrong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Yuffertale scores with a takedown into Armstrong's guard.

Yuffertale drops back looking for a leg! Armstrong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Armstrong manages to kick Yuffertale off! Yuffertale jumps back into Armstrong's guard.

Yuffertale can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Armstrong controls the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Armstrong might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yuffertale kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Armstrong not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Yuffertale throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Armstrong escapes and throws Yuffertale's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close round but I would say that Ubando Yuffertale will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Yuffertale is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Armstrong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Armstrong drops back, looking for a kneebar! Yuffertale looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Yuffertale looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Yuffertale!

Armstrong manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Armstrong takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Armstrong is looking to stall here but Yuffertale recovers full guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Michael Armstrong just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Armstrong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yuffertale moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Armstrong is looking to clinch but Yuffertale is avoiding it.
Armstrong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yuffertale was well out of range. Poor timing from Armstrong.

Yuffertale shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Armstrong napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Armstrong wants to control but Yuffertale is keeping busy.
Yuffertale breaks Armstrong's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Yuffertale drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Armstrong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yuffertale has Armstrong in his guard.
Yuffertale might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Armstrong stands and throws Yuffertale's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Yuffertale shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Armstrong but Armstrong pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Yuffertale wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Armstrong, who protects the arm well.

Armstrong misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Armstrong can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yuffertale is looking to escape.

Armstrong postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yuffertale looks a forlorn figure.
Ubando Yuffertale overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Yuffertale is wriggling around trying to escape.
Poor strikes thrown by Armstrong there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Yuffertale postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Armstrong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Yuffertale, into his guard.
