PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leslie Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Finn Demascus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Brothers and Sisters. Finn Demascus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demascus swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Demascus lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Brown takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Demascus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Demascus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Brown is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Demascus has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Brown has control of Demascus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Demascus regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown is breathing heavily.

Brown jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Demascus manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Brown throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Demascus works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leslie Brown.
