Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Punski Nub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Simba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nub has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. King Simba has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Punski Nub's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nub shoots in looking for a takedown. Simba tries to sprawl out of it but Nub keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Simba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nub is breathing heavily.
Nub has a takedown stuffed.
Simba lands a head kick. Nub smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Simba has managed to clinch.
Simba wants to get back to striking at distance but Nub won't allow it.
Nub drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Simba gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Simba ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Simba goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nub takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Simba throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nub was covering up waiting for the punch and Simba finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simba would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nub is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Simba must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Simba wants to stand but Nub is controlling his posture from full guard.

Simba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nub swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Simba is looking to stand up but Nub won't let him.

Simba slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Simba wants to get up but he can't break Nub's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A punch lands to the side of Nub 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nub gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Simba connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Simba works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Simba lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Nub has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Simba finds it's way round the side to connect with Nub's head.

Simba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nub has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Simba has managed to get both his arms back between Nub's legs - danger averted.
Nub is trying to control the position but Simba postures up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nub has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Simba avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Simba slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Simba is looking to break free of the clinch but Nub has double underhooks.
Simba lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nub backwards.
Nub wants a takedown but no success here.

Simba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Simba scores with a one two! Nub had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Simba seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Nub is looking for a sweep. Simba is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Simba in particular looking to stall.
Simba's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Simba is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nub has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Simba is looking to defend but Nub has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Simba! Nub pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Simba taps out and this one is all over!
