PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Wiley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raiskari Raimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wiley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dashboard by Modest Mouse. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wiley has closed the distance and engaged Raimo in a clinch.

Raimo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wiley has him pressed against the cage.

Raimo has Wiley pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Raimo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Wiley tumbling to the mat - Raimo dives into Wiley's guard.

and Wiley moves into the clinch.
Wiley tries to land knees in the clinch but Raimo avoids the damage to the body.

Wiley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Raimo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wiley to the mat. Wiley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Raimo chips away with some ground and pound.
Raimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Raimo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
