Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zac Jefferson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eleomar Cabbat!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabbat keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cabbat leaves Jefferson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cabbat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jefferson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zac Jefferson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cabbat misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cabbat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jefferson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Eleomar Cabbat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jefferson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cabbat avoids it really well and circles away.
Cabbat works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Cabbat throws a right and a left that both miss.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jefferson defending well as Cabbat loads up on a big left hand.
Cabbat lands a lovely overhand right.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cabbat misses with a wild combination.
Cabbat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cabbat lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cabbat moves out of range as Jefferson strikes.
Cabbat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jefferson circles away quickly and effectively.
Jefferson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cabbat circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jefferson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cabbat in his tracks.
Jefferson throws a big shot that misses.
Cabbat misses with a straight left.
Jefferson scores with a jab. Cabbat acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jefferson tries to clinch up but Cabbat circles away and keeps his distance.
Cabbat misses with an uppercut. Jefferson saw that one coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cabbat misses with a body shot.
Jefferson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jefferson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cabbat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jefferson somewhat.
Cabbat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eleomar Cabbat dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Cabbat looks to land a right hand but Jefferson moved out of range.
Jefferson takes one on the button.
Jefferson missing with a left hand there. Cabbat was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jefferson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Cabbat cracks Jefferson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jefferson falls backwards against the cage. Cabbat follows up with more strikes that drop Jefferson to his knees. Cabbat keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jefferson! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eleomar Cabbat!
Eleomar Cabbat is the new middleweight champion!
