Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sid Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikel Stalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalon blocks a head kick by Thunder.
Stalon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thunder is fending him off so far but Stalon persists. Nope, Thunder circles away and we're back to standing.
Thunder circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thunder misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stalon dodges the punch combination from Thunder.
Stalon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Stalon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thunder to the mat! Thunder manages to get full guard.

Stalon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stalon gets to his feet - Thunder follows without any prompting.
Thunder throws a sloppy head kick and Stalon moves out of range easily.
Thunder connects with a single shot there.
Thunder misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thunder throws a head kick that misses.
Thunder with a poor takedown
and Stalon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Thunder really felt that one!
Thunder is breathing heavily.
Thunder waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Stalon.

Thunder gets caught flat footed, as Stalon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Stalon wants to stand but Thunder has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stalon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Thunder trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Stalon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stalon wants to control from the top but Thunder keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stalon is looking to work some ground and pound but Thunder has wrist control.
Thunder looking to control but Stalon passes into half guard.
Stalon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Stalon tries to stand but can't do so whilst Thunder controls his leg.
Thunder flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Stalon has managed to clinch.
Thunder tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stalon smiles and moves away.
Stalon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Thunder throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stalon counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Stalon feints and as Thunder raises his hands in defense, Stalon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Thunder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Thunder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stalon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Thunder.
Thunder wants to take his opponent's back but Stalon doesn't allow it.
Thunder takes Stalon's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Stalon is in trouble.

Thunder is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stalon has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thunder has Stalon flattened out and is raining down punches.
Thunder controls the action.
Stalon is keeping busy.

Thunder has got one arm under Stalon's chin. This could be trouble... Stalon trying to control the other hand but Thunder gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Stalon has tapped out! The fight is over!
