Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarmon Keyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Van Dijk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keyes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Van Dijk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Van Dijk tries to close the distance and clinch but Keyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Keyes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Van Dijk, pushing him back against the cage.
Keyes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Van Dijk or not.

Keyes lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Keyes closes the distance and clinches.

Keyes shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Dijk tries to sprawl out of it but Keyes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Dijk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee is keeping an eye on Keyes - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Keyes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Van Dijk just stands there and leans against the cage.
Van Dijk throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Keyes blocks it with crossed arms.
Keyes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Keyes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Keyes counters with a three punch combo that has Van Dijk backing up. Van Dijk nods at Keyes to acknowledge the strikes.

Keyes clobbers Van Dijk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jesse Van Dijk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Keyes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Van Dijk leaves Keyes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Keyes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Keyes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Van Dijk defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Keyes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Van Dijk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Keyes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Dijk keeps working.
Keyes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Van Dijk is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jesse Van Dijk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Van Dijk is not content to let Keyes control the position.

Well Keyes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
