I think Mcclendon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to we ready. Kris Mcclendon had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlemenko throws the left hand but Mcclendon avoids the punch easily.
Schlemenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Schlemenko - that will leave a mark!
Schlemenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcclendon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Schlemenko throws a head kick but Mcclendon moves out of range.
Schlemenko throws a shot from downtown. Mcclendon moves away and avoids it.
Schlemenko misses with a body kick.
Mcclendon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mcclendon walks into a left hand.
Schlemenko connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schlemenko lands a big head kick that sends Mcclendon tumbling to the mat! Schlemenko takes a step backwards and waves Mcclendon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mcclendon is rocked!

It looks like Kris Mcclendon has been cut.
Mcclendon shoots for a double leg takedown but Schlemenko sprawls well. He's pushed Mcclendon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh Mcclendon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schlemenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Schlemenko throws a head kick that misses.
Mcclendon seems to have got his legs back now.
Mcclendon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schlemenko as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Mcclendon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcclendon is breathing heavily.
