Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borden Chantry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Enter Sandman - Metallica blaring out of the sound system. Chantry is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by RATM - Killing in the Name Of. Lazarus Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Borden Chantry's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazarus Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borden Chantry!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chantry just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones stuffs the takedown.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Chantry was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Chantry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jones's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jones duly obliges.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chantry moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chantry.
Lazarus Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Borden Chantry.

Chantry scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chantry closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Chantry getting side control.

Chantry wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chantry!
Chantry sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Borden Chantry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chantry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chantry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jones scores with a hook to the body. Chantry takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Chantry is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Chantry, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones connects with the punch.
Chantry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Chantry is not content to let Jones control the position.
Chantry is breathing heavily.

Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chantry's head.
Jones is trying to control. Chantry wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chantry is looking to escape.
