Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conrado Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Conrado Guerra!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Guerra checks it well.
Dux throws a right and a left that both miss.
Guerra misses with a head kick.
Guerra throws a head kick but Dux moves out of range.
Dux misses with a low kick.
Dux misses with a few strikes there.
Dux tries to land a leg kick but Guerra saw it coming and moves away.
Dux blocks a head kick by Guerra.
Dux throws a head kick that misses
and Guerra counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dux is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dux tries to score a power double leg takedown but Guerra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dux somewhat.

Dux looks to throw a body kick

and Guerra counters with a shoot takedown. Dux fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dux wants to sweep here but Guerra controlling him for the moment.

Guerra drops back looking for a leg! Dux is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dux manages to kick Guerra off! Guerra jumps back into Dux's guard.
Guerra trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Guerra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Guerra wants to get up but he can't break Dux's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dux is controlling Guerra's posture.
Dux wants to sweep here but Guerra controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dux decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Guerra looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guerra looking for submissions off his back.
Guerra trying to hold on to Dux's head to control him but Dux postures up.

Guerra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dux pulls his head out easily.
Dux trying to control from half guard but Guerra is working away.
Guerra is looking to improve his position.

Dux is just content to waste time from the top position. Guerra takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Dux avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dux has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guerra is proving hard to escape from.
Dux has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Guerra had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dux defends it easily.
Guerra looks gassed!
Guerra is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Guerra is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dux defends well.

Dux would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Guerra wants to control but Dux passes easily into half guard.

Dux wants to control but Guerra is keeping him busy.
Dux thows a huge punch but Guerra dodges it nicely.

Dux prevents Guerra from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dux misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dux closes the distance and clinches up with Guerra, looking for a takedown. Dux pushes Guerra against the cage but Guerra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Guerra connects with a high kick.

Guerra clinches.
Nice elbow from Guerra.
Dux wants a takedown but no success here.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Dux dodges an elbow strike from Guerra.

Guerra breaks from the clinch.
Guerra stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guerra wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dux tries to bum rush Guerra with a series of wild strikes but Guerra uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guerra shoots for a double leg takedown but Dux sprawls well. He's pushed Guerra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dux shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guerra as he avoids it easily.

and Guerra counters with a head kick that drops Dux - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Guerra is working for a kimura but Dux is defending it quite comfortably.

Guerra in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dux tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Guerra!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Conrado Guerra!
