The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mariachi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mariachi is looking to take a break and control but Maradona is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Maradona wants to control but Mariachi is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Maradona is refusing to be controlled, as Mariachi sits in half guard.
Mariachi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maradona on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maradona changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mariachi tries to avoid it but Maradona manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mariachi to the ground. Mariachi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Maradona has got one arm under Mariachi's chin. This could be trouble... Mariachi trying to control the other hand but Maradona gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mariachi has tapped out! The fight is over!
