Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Helio Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riaan Geingob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado comes to the cage accompanied by Mindless Self Indulgence - Bitches. Geingob is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Oficina G3 - Meus Proprios Meios. Helio Machado had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado closes the distance and clinches up with Geingob, looking for a takedown. Machado pushes Geingob against the cage but Geingob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Geingob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Machado or perhaps it was just good defense by Geingob which made him look bad.
Geingob throws a head kick that misses.
Geingob tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Machado was well out of range. Poor timing from Geingob.
The crowd cheers as Geingob lands an impressive looking overhand right. Machado doesn't seem phased though.
Machado throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Geingob's waist but Geingob gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Machado off to one side.

Machado bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Machado goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Geingob has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Machado but great work by Geingob.
