Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Olivier Mr X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Olivier Mr X!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Rich!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich misses with the combination.
A right-left combo lands from Mr X.
No luck for Rich with that takedown attempt.
Mr X lands a nice shot to the body.
Joe Rich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Rich.
Rich closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mr X circles away.
Mr X circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rich tries a head kick but it misses.
Rich tries to clinch up but Mr X circles away and keeps his distance.
Rich tries to close the distance and clinch but Mr X swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mr X bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mr X trying to control the action but Rich is working from the bottom.
Mr X working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Rich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mr X. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mr X wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rich, who protects the arm well.
Mr X in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Mr X lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rich down.
Rich tries to improve position but can't.

Mr X has an Americana. Rich didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mr X is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mr X hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
