Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Babybrother Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Ike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Bodies. Babybrother Killer has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Babybrother Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samuel Ike!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ike bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ike wants to stand but Killer is controlling his arm.
Ike controls the position.
Killer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ike wants to stand but Killer has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Ike wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killer keeps working.
Well, if Ike is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Killer looking for submissions off his back.
Killer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Killer.
Ike trying to stand up but can't free himself from Killer's guard.
Ike showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Killer is breathing heavily.
Ike wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.

Killer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ike is aware though and is defending well.
Ike sitting in guard here, content to control.
Ike has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Killer is proving hard to escape from.
Killer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ike is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ike wants to get up but he can't break Killer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ike is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ike wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.

Killer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ike is aware though and is defending well.
Killer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ike wants to stand but Killer is controlling his posture from full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Killer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ike connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ike darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Killer actively working from the bottom here.

Ike is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Ike trying to control the action but Killer is working from the bottom.
Killer regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ike wants to stand but Killer is controlling his posture from full guard.
Killer keeping moving, preventing Ike from controlling successfully.

Killer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ike doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ike manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ike trying to control the position from guard on top but Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A close round but Samuel Ike will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ike decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ike throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Killer on the side of the head.
Samuel Ike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ike gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Ike pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ike looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Killer!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ike looking to control but Killer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Despite being in the dominant position, Samuel Ike just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ike throws a sloppy head kick and Killer moves out of range easily.
Ike tries to clinch there but Killer circles away.
Ike fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ike displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Killer.
Ike throws a jab but it's blocked by Killer.
Killer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ike stuffs the takedown.
Killer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ike can pounce on him.
Ike tries to bum rush Killer with a series of wild strikes but Killer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Killer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Killer swats away the attempt to clinch by Ike.

Ike clinches up against the cage.

Ike manages to break the clinch.
Killer looks for a takedown but Ike sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Babybrother Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Killer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ike throws a combination that misses

and Killer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Killer seems to be working for a kimura but Ike defends the submission attempt.
Ike is trying to stand.

Killer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ike sees it coming and defends easily.
Killer is looking to advance position but Ike won't allow it.
Samuel Ike has got the better of the ground game so far.

Killer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ike does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Killer is trying to work for a kimura but Ike is defending well.
Killer wants to pass to mount but Ike is defending the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ike throws a head kick but Killer moves out of range.
Ike lands with a slapping head kick.
Killer ducks right into an uppercut from Ike.
Nice sprawl there from Ike as Killer shoots in.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ike closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ike lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Killer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ike defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samuel Ike showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Killer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Killer has his takedown stuffed
and Ike counters with a two punch combo.
Killer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Killer throws a leg kick but Ike checks it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ike looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown by Killer or perhaps it was just good defense by Ike which made him look bad.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Ike.
Ike lands a nice hook to Killer's body. Killer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ike throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Killer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Babybrother Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ike jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ike doesn't manage to clinch there - Killer circles away.

and Ike counters by clinching up.
Killer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ike gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ike escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Killer throws a hook but Ike blocks it.
Ike shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Killer counters with a shoot takedown. Ike fights it but they end up in guard.
Killer slips nicely into half guard.
Ike is trying to maintain the position but Killer is very close to passing his half guard.

Killer wants to work for an arm triangle but Ike is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Killer seems to be looking for submissions.
Ike wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Killer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ike defend it? Killer steps over the head and cranks it - Ike is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Killer!
