Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marion Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and przemas michal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bowers might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to What's My Name. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, przemas michal!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowers keeps the fight on the outside.
Bowers looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from michal, right into the meat.
Bowers avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
michal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
michal fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bowers is out of range.

Bowers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows michal to score an easy takedown into full guard.

michal stands and steps away. Bowers gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
michal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
michal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
michal wants to clinch.

michal gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

michal tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no michal has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

michal decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bowers to his feet.
przemas michal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bowers parries the strikes from michal easily there. michal is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bowers to escape.
Bowers tries to bench press michal off him but michal keeps the position.

Bowers shoots in for a takedown but michal shows good takedown defense.

michal looks up at the clock and then as Bowers takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, michal smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

and michal counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by michal.

michal walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bowers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and michal counters with a shoot takedown. Bowers fights it but they end up in guard.
michal is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

michal drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
michal is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
michal tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bowers was well out of range. Poor timing from michal.
Bowers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but michal avoids it really well and circles away.

michal will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

No joy there for michal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

michal seems to be working for a kimura but Bowers defends the submission attempt.
Bowers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for michal on the ground.

michal is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
michal is keen to just control but Bowers is a slippery customer.
przemas michal has got the better of the ground game so far.
It looks like michal is going to stand back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
michal is stalling here. Bowers is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! michal seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bowers has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

michal tries to buck Bowers off but Bowers is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

michal looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

michal postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bowers to stand up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from michal lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bowers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bowers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
michal is looking to chop away at Bowers's legs.
Bowers shoots in looking for a takedown. michal tries to sprawl out of it but Bowers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. michal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
