The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulo Junior misses with a takedown attempt - Uusierkki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Paulo Junior shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Uusierkki working for a triangle but Paulo Junior defends it easily.
Paulo Junior wants to control from the top but Uusierkki keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Uusierkki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Uusierkki showed some decent athleticism there.
Uusierkki is nestled in close to Paulo Junior, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uusierkki seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Paulo Junior is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
