Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Jaller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andres Jaller!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jaller looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jaller tries to clinch but Jenkins moves away
and Jenkins counters with a body kick that stops Jaller in his tracks momentarily.
Jaller wants to clinch

and Jenkins counters by clinching up.
Jenkins lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Jenkins lands a damaging elbow.

Jenkins jumps guard and drags Jaller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jenkins pulls Jaller in to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jenkins wants to stand but Jaller is controlling the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jaller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jenkins moves into the clinch successfully.
Jenkins crunches a lovely knee into Jaller's ribcage.

Jenkins jumps guard and drags Jaller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jenkins rushes Jaller and presses him up against the cage.
Jaller wants to break free but Jenkins has control.
Jenkins lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jaller or not.

Jenkins gets control of Jaller's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jenkins will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jenkins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jaller is trying to defend but Jenkins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jenkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Jaller tries to sprawl out of it but Jenkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jaller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jenkins is looking to clinch but Jaller is avoiding it.
Jenkins tries to clinch there but Jaller circles away.

Jenkins clinches up against the cage.
Jaller missing with knees to the body.
Jenkins lands a shot to the body.
Jenkins lands a knee to the body.
Jenkins manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jenkins lands a body shot in the clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Jenkins.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Jaller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jenkins moves into the clinch.
