Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Icke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia has chosen Basket Case as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia looks for a takedown but Icke sprawls well.

Icke connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Maia on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Icke connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Maia's hands.

Maia shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maia showed some decent athleticism there.

Maia wants to control the pace but Icke is squirming around nicely.

Maia has hold of Icke's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Icke manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Maia tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Maia works his way to his opponent's back.

Maia has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Icke has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Maia is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Icke defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Maia is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Icke is defending well though. Maia let's go of the attempt for now.
Well, with Maia on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Icke is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Maia might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Icke kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Maia is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Icke won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Maia off his unconscious opponent!
