Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, bart simpson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
simpson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jobber vX wants to get back to his feet.

simpson lands with a punch from half guard.
simpson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
A combination from Jobber vX does no damage.
simpson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jobber vX sprawls well initially but simpson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
simpson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Jobber vX really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and simpson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jobber vX's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

simpson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jobber vX is trying to hold simpson in close to prevent damage but simpson has managed to pass into half guard.
simpson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
simpson uses his free foot to push down on Jobber vX's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jobber vX.
simpson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jobber vX looks a forlorn figure.

simpson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jobber vX is trying to reverse the position but instead simpson has taken his back - oops!
simpson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Despite being in the dominant position, bart simpson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
simpson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jobber vX napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jobber vX knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for simpson on the ground.

simpson has an Americana. Jobber vX didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! simpson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if simpson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
