Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Padilia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miami Vice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vice keeps the fight on the outside.
Padilia is looking to clinch but Vice is avoiding it.

Vice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vice is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Padilia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Vice goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Padilia is on top in guard.

Vice is pushing down on Padilia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Padilia is fighting to maintain full guard but Vice has managed to sneak the leg through.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vice in particular looking to stall.
Padilia pushes Vice off looking to stand but Vice dives back in and keeps control.
