The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bread sprawls well. Bread wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gomez gets slowly back to his feet.
Gomez throws a series of punches but Bread avoids them all with ease.
Gomez throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bread rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gomez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown but Bread shows good takedown defense.
Chuz Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bread goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Chuz Gomez has been cut.
Bread displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gomez.
Ry Bread has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuz Gomez.
Bread rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gomez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Bread knocks Gomez out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
