The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lethal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lethal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hasegawa pinned against the cage. Hasegawa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lethal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lethal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hasegawa avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Lethal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hasegawa stuffs the takedown attempt from Lethal. Lethal gets slowly back to his feet.
Hasegawa throws a jab when Lethal was well out of range.
Lethal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hasegawa defends it nicely.
Hasegawa lands a nice hook to Lethal's body. Lethal takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lethal tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hasegawa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lethal somewhat.
Lethal is breathing heavily.
Lethal shoots in but no luck this time.
Lethal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lethal closes the distance and clinches up with Hasegawa, looking for a takedown. Lethal pushes Hasegawa against the cage but Hasegawa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lethal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hasegawa rushes Lethal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
