Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Sandahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Palledorous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandahl comes into the arena with Neil Young - Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black) blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Palledorous!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palledorous throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sandahl was covering up waiting for the punch and Palledorous finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sandahl looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Palledorous trying to control the position from guard on top but Sandahl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sandahl keeping full guard, as Palledorous tries to pass.
Palledorous in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Palledorous has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Palledorous stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sandahl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palledorous drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Palledorous jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sandahl looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sandahl is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Palledorous frees his head nicely. Oh but Sandahl has switched to an armbar! Palledorous is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
