The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romario throws a right hand that Trucks ducks under and follows up with a left that Trucks also avoids with ease.
Romario throws a nice looking combination but Trucks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Trucks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Trucks wants to stand up but Romario has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trucks prevents Romario from improving his position.
Romario wants to get back to his feet.
Trucks is keen to just control but Romario is a slippery customer.
Ground and pound from Trucks.
Trucks is thwarting Romario's attempts to control the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Romario gets full guard.
Romario bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trucks's guard.
Romario is looking to work some ground and pound but Trucks has wrist control.
Romario wants to stand but Trucks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Romario avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Trucks is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Romario trying to control but Trucks is working from the bottom.
Romario is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Romario trying to stand up but can't free himself from Trucks's guard.
Romario wants to control from the top but Trucks keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Romario throws a series of punches but Trucks moves out of range.
Romario goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Derek Trucks has been cut.
Romario cracks Trucks with an open hand slap.
Romario misses with a double jab.

BOOM! Romario lands a beautiful left hook that drops Trucks. Trucks tries to recover but Romario is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Trucks lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
