Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chiko Demono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Doff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demono goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Demono drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Doff is trying to control the position but Demono postures up.
Demono tries to free his leg and advance position but Doff is retaining full guard.
Demono trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Doff manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Demono seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Demono might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nice takedown defense from Doff. No joy for Demono on that attempt.

Doff had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Demono is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Doff Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Demono's back instead.
Doff lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
You can see the frustration on Demono's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Demono is working hard here to advance position.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chiko Demono will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Doff takes the fight into the clinch.
Demono has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Doff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Demono tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Doff breaks from the clinch.
Demono closes the distance and clinches up with Doff, looking for a takedown. Demono pushes Doff against the cage but Doff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chiko Demono. That's going to take a lot out of him.
