Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Triad closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Napier did well to prevent Triad getting side control.

Triad feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Napier looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Triad has picked Napier up and slammed him! Napier can't keep hold of the triangle and Triad manages to pass to side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Napier throws an overhand right that lands on Triad's shoulder, as Triad tries to avoid the shot.

and Napier counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Napier isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Triad stacks Napier on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Triad!
