The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rua throws and low kick but Brazilian Experiment I moves out of range easily.
Rua closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wanderlei Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brazilian Experiment I thumps Rua with a low kick.
Rua shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rua is looking to clinch but Brazilian Experiment I is avoiding it.
The crowd cheers as Brazilian Experiment I lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rua doesn't seem phased though.

Brazilian Experiment I is looking to slow Rua down with leg kicks.
Rua seems to have got his legs back now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brazilian Experiment I dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rua. That did some damage!
Rua takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Brazilian Experiment I lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rua is looking to close the distance but Brazilian Experiment I sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rua crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rua is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
