Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexandre Ribeiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hoho Stinkers!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro fails with a takedown attempt.
Stinkers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ribeiro.
Ribeiro dips to his left and cracks Stinkers with an uppercut!

Stinkers moves into the clinch.
Stinkers working hard to break the clinch.
Ribeiro tries a body shot but Stinkers blocks it.

Stinkers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stinkers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ribeiro won't allow Stinkers to get back to his feet.
Ribeiro wanted to stand there but Stinkers had control of the position.

Stinkers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ribeiro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stinkers.
Ribeiro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Stinkers defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ribeiro.

Stinkers tries to close the distance and clinch but Ribeiro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ribeiro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Stinkers shoots and misses

Stinkers pushes Ribeiro off looking to stand but Ribeiro dives back in and keeps control.
Ribeiro frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ribeiro stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ribeiro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ribeiro decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ribeiro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ribeiro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ribeiro throwing strikes here but Stinkers is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Stinkers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ribeiro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stinkers's face.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stinkers can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ribeiro has hold of Stinkers's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stinkers manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Alexandre Ribeiro overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ribeiro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Ribeiro has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Stinkers.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ribeiro lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
A lull in the action here.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Alexandre Ribeiro just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ribeiro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stinkers is fending him off so far but Ribeiro persists. Nope, Stinkers circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoho Stinkers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
