Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samson Rudensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Jacobs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samson Rudensky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rudensky looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Rudensky shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jacobs manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jacobs is trying to maintain the position but Rudensky is very close to passing his half guard.
Rudensky is taking a breather. Jacobs says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Jacobs wants to stand and escape but Rudensky is having none of it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rudensky lands a nice short elbow.

Rudensky takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Rudensky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
