Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between chai skantze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MacDonald Rory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rory displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as skantze throws out the jab.
Rory dodges the punch combination from skantze.

skantze looks to land a combination but Rory avoids it well.

Rory is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but skantze is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rory lands a nice short elbow.
skantze pushes Rory off looking to stand but Rory dives back in and keeps control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

chai skantze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rory feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

MacDonald Rory is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Rory looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
