The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Tuhoaja shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tuhoaja is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tuhoaja manages to get himself to full guard.
