Saudade has chosen Marcelo D2 - desabafo as his entrance music. Rafael Saudade has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Heston Patterson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saudade scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Saudade looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Patterson kicks off Saudade and gets to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Patterson, as that shot connected.

It looks like Rafael Saudade has been cut.
Patterson tries a head kick but it misses.
Saudade misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Saudade feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Patterson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Patterson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Saudade is defending well. Patterson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Saudade has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Patterson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
