Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between dusty manny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Leer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leer has chosen Disturbed - Droppin Plates as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leer feints and as manny raises his hands in defense, Leer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
manny wants to stand but Leer is controlling the position.

Leer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
manny tries a head kick but it misses.
Leer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Leer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Leer decides to stand back up. Leer steps back and let's manny get back to his feet.
Leer throws a sloppy head kick and manny moves out of range easily.
Leer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Leer fails in his attempt to clinch.

Leer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Leer looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
manny looks like he's trying to stand up.
Leer wants to lay and pray for a moment but manny keeps working.

Leer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
manny wants to get back to his feet.
manny is staying active underneath Leer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
manny is trying to stand back up but Leer is controlling him
Leer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Leer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but manny avoids it really well and circles away.
A thudding body kick lands there by manny!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from manny, right into the meat.
manny tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

manny connects with the punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for manny.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
manny catches Leer with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Leer is rocked!
Leer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Leer is still on wobbly legs! Can manny finish him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from manny! This one is all over!
