Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alecander Fein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Susikasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Susikasi's choice of entrance music: Paleface - Talonomistaja. Alecander Fein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raymond Susikasi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Susikasi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fein's guard.
Susikasi won't allow Fein to sweep him here.
Fein has control of Susikasi's left arm, preventing Susikasi from doing any damage.
Susikasi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fein working for a triangle but Susikasi defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Susikasi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Susikasi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fein is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fein has escaped and now he's on top!

Susikasi looking for a guillotine here but Fein defends easily.

Susikasi keeping moving, preventing Fein from controlling successfully.
Fein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fein is working hard here to advance position.

Susikasi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fein defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Susikasi being controlled here, momentarily.
Fein looking to sit in guard and control but Susikasi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Susikasi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fein is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Susikasi, into his guard.
Fein controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Susikasi wants to sweep here but Fein controlling him for the moment.
Susikasi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fein controls the pace.

Fein drops back looking for a leg! Susikasi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Susikasi manages to kick Fein off! Fein jumps back into Susikasi's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fein drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Susikasi dives on top into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Susikasi stopping the sweep attempt from Fein.
Susikasi wants to control from the top but Fein keeps moving.
Susikasi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fein controls Susikasi momentarily but Susikasi frees himself.
Susikasi passes Fein's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raymond Susikasi dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fein is looking to clinch but Susikasi is avoiding it.
Fein is trying hard to land a takedown here. Susikasi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Susikasi gets caught flat footed, as Fein shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Fein drops back, looking for a kneebar! Susikasi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Susikasi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Susikasi!
Susikasi is chipping away with strikes.
Susikasi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fein some visible discomfort.
You can see the frustration on Fein's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fein avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Susikasi.
Fein regains half guard there - taking advantage of Susikasi's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Susikasi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Susikasi is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Fein reverses the position - he's now on top in Susikasi's guard.
Susikasi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Susikasi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fein is looking to clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fein scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Susikasi with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fein connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fein will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fein shoots and misses

and Susikasi counters with a takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Susikasi tries to move into full mount but can't pass Fein's legs.
Fein can't do much from the bottom here.

Susikasi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fein has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Susikasi but great work by Fein.

Fein looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Fein tries to move to mount but Susikasi blocks the move with his legs.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Fein trying to control the action but Susikasi is working from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fein laying and praying for a moment but Susikasi takes advantage and regains half guard.
Susikasi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fein is keen to just control but Susikasi is a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Susikasi tries for a takedown but Fein circles away easily
and Fein counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alecander Fein will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Susikasi shoots in and drives through. Fein sprawls well.

Oooh a lovely combination from Fein sends Susikasi down but not out. Fein dives into side control looking to finish.


Susikasi is rocked!

Fein is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Susikasi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Susikasi is still in real trouble! Can Fein finish him?
Fein taking a breather here.
Susikasi seems to have recovered his senses.
Susikasi is looking to regain half guard here but Fein keeps moving and retains side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Fein trying to control the position but Susikasi is working away.
Fein wants to take a breather but Susikasi manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Fein.

Fein slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Fein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Susikasi throws and elbow that misses. Fein uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Susikasi's guard. Nice move by Fein!

Susikasi pushes Fein off and gets back to his feet.
Fein fails to land with a series of punches.
Alecander Fein is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fein throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Susikasi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fein shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Susikasi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Raymond Susikasi has got the better of the ground game so far.
Susikasi stands and throws Fein's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Susikasi throwing strikes but Fein manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Fein tries to move to full mount but Susikasi actually manages to regain half guard.

Fein seems to be looking for submissions.
Susikasi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fein's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fein's back!
Fein just trying to survive but Susikasi is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Susikasi working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Susikasi is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Fein is defending well though. Susikasi let's go of the attempt for now.

I would just about give that final round to Raymond Susikasi.
I think Susikasi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
