PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vack Wards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glass Jaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wards comes into the arena with The Beast And The Harlot blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wards shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wards showed some decent athleticism there.
Wards prevents Jaw from standing back up.
Jaw tries to roll over but Wards keeps him under control.
Jaw wants to control but Wards is keeping busy.
Jaw manages to get to full guard.
Jaw wants to get back to his feet but Wards is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Wards tightens his grip and picks Jaw up, before dumping him to the ground. Jaw manages to land in guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

You can see the frustration on Jaw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jaw is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Jaw is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up.

No joy there for Jaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wards misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jaw throws a solid leg kick but Wards takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jaw.

Jaw bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wards's head.
Glass Jaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaw sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wards shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jaw's guard.

Jaw closes the distance and clinches up with Wards, looking for a takedown. Jaw pushes Wards against the cage but Wards circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wards working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Jaw turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Wards off and cradles Jaw's limp body as Wards celebrates with his corner.
