The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaid tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kincaid stuffs the takedown attempt from Connor. Connor gets slowly back to his feet.

John Connor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Connor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kincaid won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Connor tries to score with some ground and pound. Kincaid controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Connor misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That's time! Kincaid's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vance Kincaid.
