The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cent shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Iwasaki as he avoids it easily.
Cent has a takedown stuffed.
Iwasaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cent fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaaron Cent. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cent fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Iwasaki avoids it really well and circles away.
Cent is breathing heavily.
Iwasaki throws a right and a left that Cent avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Iwasaki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cent's head backwards.
Cent shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Iwasaki as he avoids it easily.

Iwasaki lands a left and a right that send Cent crashing to the mat, dazed. Iwasaki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Cent is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Iwasaki throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Oh Cent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Iwasaki sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Cent's defenses. It connects perfectly with Cent's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
