Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Travers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Roice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cody Travers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Noah Roice's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Roice!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travers avoids the head kick by Roice.
Roice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Roice cracks the inside of Travers's front leg.
Travers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice takedown defense from Travers. No joy for Roice on that attempt.
Cody Travers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noah Roice.
Travers stuffs the takedown.
Roice dodges the punch combination from Travers.

Travers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Travers misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Roice looks gassed!
Roice prevents Travers from improving position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roice wants to get back to his feet but Travers drags him back down.
Travers with the ground and pound but Roice regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Travers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Roice is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Travers is controlling him.
Roice is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Travers trying to control but Roice is working from the bottom.
Travers distracts Roice with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Travers wants to stand but Roice is controlling his posture from full guard.

Travers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Travers throws a strike but Roice rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Roice cracks Travers with a solid left hand.

Roice trying to control but Travers is working from the bottom.

Roice drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Roice as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Travers screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Roice! Nice submission victory there!
