And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Taker manages to break the clinch.

Taker pushes Babalu up against the cage in a clinch.
Taker wants a takedown.
Babalu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Taker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Babalu tries to clinch but Taker moves away
and Taker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Babalu misses with a takedown
and Taker counters with a head kick. That will keep Babalu thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Taker tries to keep at a distance but Babalu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Taker lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Taker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Taker throws a punch but it's blocked by Babalu.

Taker breaks from the clinch.
Taker scores with a leg kick.
Taker works over Babalu's head and body with a nice combination.

Babalu has his takedown stuffed
and Taker counters with a three punch combo that has Babalu backing up. Babalu nods at Taker to acknowledge the strikes.

Babalu is rocked!
Jim Taker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Niko Babalu.
Babalu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Taker counters with a nice body shot.
Babalu looks gassed!

and Taker counters with a good low kick that Babalu was not able to check.

Taker darts in and clinches Babalu up against the cage.
Taker lands with a short shot to the head.
Taker tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Taker manages to break the clinch.
Taker lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Babalu can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Taker and Babalu drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Taker.
