Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barclay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Murder Ya by Kenny Ken (Benny Page RMX) as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barclay Jones!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a head kick that misses.
Jones throws a big shot that misses.
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rogers.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rogers manages to avoid it.
Rogers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Rogers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Rogers on that attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Rogers as Jones shoots in.

and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Rogers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rogers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Rogers is breathing heavily.

Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Marcus Rogers has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones lands a big right hand that sends Rogers crashing to the mat! Jones stays standing though and waves Rogers back to his feet!
Rogers is rocked!
Jones lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rogers is looking to close the distance but Jones sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rogers crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rogers is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
