Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Devan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has chosen The Way Of The Fist as his entrance music. Thiago Torres will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arnold Devan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Torres!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devan shoots in for a double leg but Torres sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Devan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Torres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Devan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Devan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Devan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Torres working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Devan.
Torres is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Devan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Devan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Devan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Torres works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Torres can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Devan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Torres was well out of range. Poor timing from Devan.
Devan swings for the body but Torres moves out of range.
Devan looks to land a combination but Torres avoids it well.

Torres shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Devan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Devan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Torres in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Torres is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Torres takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Devan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Devan cracks Torres with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
