Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asbjoern Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers tries to clinch but Andersson is having none of it.
Powers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Powers buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Powers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Powers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Andersson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Powers tries to stand but can't do so whilst Andersson controls his leg.

Powers escapes and gets back to his feet.
Powers tries to bum rush Andersson with a series of wild strikes but Andersson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Powers blocks a head kick by Andersson.
Andersson moves out of range of the leg kick from Powers.
Andersson ducks under a wild hook from Powers.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Powers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Powers throws a head kick but Andersson moves out of range.
Matt Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Powers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Asbjoern Andersson has been cut.
Powers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Powers tries to land a front kick but Andersson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Powers misses with a double jab.

Andersson lands a big head kick that sends Powers tumbling to the mat! Andersson takes a step backwards and waves Powers back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Matt Powers has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
