PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slayer is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. David Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Slayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Jones!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Slayer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Slayer is breathing heavily.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slayer shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Slayer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones drops Slayer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Slayer looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jones is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Slayer hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
