Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crash Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josiah Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holly kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slow Death. Crash Holly has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Silva tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Silva breaks the clinch.
Silva takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Josiah Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Holly sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Holly. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Holly checks a leg kick nicely.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Holly shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Crash Holly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josiah Silva.
Holly thuds a left hand into Silva's body.
Holly lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Silva backs up against the cage.

and Holly makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Holly. No joy for Silva on that attempt.

Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Holly doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Holly jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Holly's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Holly duly obliges.
Holly lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Holly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holly pinned against the cage. Holly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Silva dives in and grabs Holly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holly pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.

Holly darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage.
Holly jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Holly gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Josiah Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Holly tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Silva shoots in but Holly avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Silva motions for Holly to come forward. Silva throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A left and a right from Holly both land. Nice combination.
Holly displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Silva has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva there as he acknowledges the shot.

Holly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Holly lands with a nice body punch.
Holly stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
