Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alieksei Karamazov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roryon Lopes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karamazov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Karamazov closes the distance and clinches up with Lopes, looking for a takedown. Karamazov pushes Lopes against the cage but Lopes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lopes misses with a hook. Karamazov ducked under it nicely.
Lopes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Karamazov or perhaps it was just good defense by Lopes which made him look bad.
Karamazov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lopes sprawls well. Lopes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Karamazov gets slowly back to his feet.

Lopes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Karamazov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Lopes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Karamazov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Karamazov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Karamazov!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alieksei Karamazov.
