The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukari throws a sloppy head kick and Daigouji moves out of range easily.
Sukari looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sukari looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daigouji is fending him off so far but Sukari persists. Nope, Daigouji circles away and we're back to standing.
Gai Daigouji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Daigouji is looking for a kimura but Sukari is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Daigouji to get the leverage.
