Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Laveaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delgado kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Roots. Eric Delgado could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pierre Laveaux's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laveaux fails in his attempt to clinch.
Laveaux throws a leg kick but Delgado sees it coming and moves out of range.
Laveaux staying out of range there.
Laveaux throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Laveaux darts in and clinches Delgado up against the cage.
Delgado drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Laveaux is trying to break the clinch but Delgado is controlling him.

Laveaux breaks from the clinch.
Delgado looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Laveaux is fending him off so far but Delgado persists. Nope, Laveaux circles away and we're back to standing.
Delgado is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laveaux sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Delgado doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Delgado shoots in for a takedown but Laveaux shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Laveaux fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Delgado, pushing him back against the cage.
Delgado can't get the takedown.
Delgado tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Laveaux smiles and moves away.
Laveaux ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Delgado is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Laveaux drives through and clinches with Delgado against the cage.
Laveaux works on Delgado's body with a couple of short punches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Laveaux.
Laveaux wants a takedown.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Delgado tries to pull guard but Laveaux holds him up against the cage and eventually Delgado drops back down to his feet.

Laveaux breaks the clinch.

Laveaux misses with a double jab.

Laveaux lands a left and a right that send Delgado crashing to the mat, dazed. Laveaux thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Delgado is rocked!

It looks like Eric Delgado has been cut.
Delgado loses concentration momentarily and Laveaux pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Delgado crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Laveaux finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
